Hello Jenniferlee. I see it's been awhile since you posted this, but wanted to reply anyway. If you have a nodule on your thyroid, it is most likely overactive. If it is overactive, that could explain the palps.
I had an overactive thyroid a few years back and I developed 3 large goiters on my thyroid. My heart would begin to race for no reason and I would sweat alot and my eyes looked like this ----->>
I had alot of other symptoms too, but I won't bore you with the details.
