Welcome to the forums, Jazzy! Have you talked to your doctor about Phentermine yet?

Default Just left my Dr's Ofc.

I went to my doctor and told her that I was worried about my weight gain. She told me she too was concerned because I was not pregnant. She checked my blood pressure and reviewed my recent charts where I had a complete blood count that showed that all of my levels were normal in all areas. We then discussed weight loss options and we decided on a trial of phentermine. It was after 2pm when I received my presciption. However, I quickly took it anyway. I'm excited about losing this extra weight! I can say though, I'm feeling really good already. I've never done drugs before. But, I would say that this is probably how someone feels when they are "high" so to speak. It just gives me a good feeling. A heightened libido, if you will... I feel good... Maybe this feeling will change once my body adjusts. Any feedback? Have you heard this before?

Ahh glad your blood check was ok! Yeah actually a lot of people have heightened libidos when they take phentermine, and for most it's a lasting effect.

The high feeling and appetite suppression wear off for some people after a couple months. It's just how their bodies work, it seems.

Have you noticed decreased hunger?

Let us know how your first week goes - I'm looking forward to hearing about it.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for responding! I'm glad that I'm not alone in feeling that way (heightened libido) I have already lost my appetite. But, I am going to eat a small salad and do some cardio. My goal is to lose about 20 lbs. I look forward to that happening soon. Take care for now...I will definitely keep you informed.
