Hello everyone!!!

I just started taking Phentermine on Sunday. Can anyone tell me what are the most common side effects? Also, I am feeling nauseated everyday so far, and I have been unable to sleep like I usually do. Can someone please give me some input!!?? Thanks!!

I started last month June 18 and I have lost around 17 pounds so far. I found that cutting my pills in half cut down the side effects. I was jittery with a fast heart rate. Dizzy, talkative. I didn't like it. The pills that I take are scored. They have a line in the middle of it. The doctor said if a whole pill seemed to be too much I could just take the half once a day. Some of the common side effects is elevated blood pressure, nervousness, jitteriness, irritability(I have very, very little patience now), higher pulse rate, excitabilty, headache, constipation and diarrhea, burst of energy. I try to take it early in the morning around 7 so it doesn't interfere with my sleep. So far I have not had any problems with it but it effects everyone differently. I'm a graduated nurse so I did a little research on it. Alot of things that the doctor don't tell you. Good luck
