What should happen if you accidentally skip a dose of Phentermine? Should you take two doses the time you take it, or should you just continue on as if it didn't happen?

Great question, Jayla - definitely don't double up on doses. Just continue as normal with the prescribed dose. If you miss one just wait until the next scheduled dose

Thanks for the information Ian, I was just wondering, because I know that with some medications, doctors will say that you should double up next time. I'm just trying to see what is right for Phentermine users. Thanks again!

Yep, I am pretty sure that Ian is right. I've been told that Phentermine should not be double dosed at any given time. You should just continue on until the next time you take it.

Ok so when does a dose go from being late, to being forgotten? Is there a guideline as to, say, if you are just three hours late you can still take it, but if you are five hours late you just skip it?

That's a good point, but I'm really not quite sure just how long I would consider a dose to be late. I would think that it would be at least 5 hours before it should be considered a miss, but I'm not entirely sure.

I just know that with the birth control pill it's a similar thing-that up to a certain point in time it is considered late, and they give you a guideline as to when the dose becomes officially missed. I would think that phentermine does the same.

That's kind of what I was wondering, if it was anything like birth control, where you are supposed to take double the dose if you skip one. I am going to try and see if I can find a general guideline online somewhere, I haven't found one yet.
