I'm curious as I saw this recently on PhenForum - has anyone experienced jaw or tooth pain while on Phentermine? Some people seem to believe it's caused by the Phentermine directly. But I have read that Phentermine makes some people grind and clench their teeth at night, which would better explain the pain.

I can't say that this has ever happened to me. I never noticed any type of teeth grinding or clenching, and my jaws and teeth have been just fine.

I have not had the issue myself, the only time I have jaw pain is from sinuses that put pressure on my wisdoms (I still have them oddly enough). Is it possible it would effect those that have dental issues to start with (bad teeth, etc), so that whatever their prior dental issue is, this is just something that might agitate it?

That's what I was thinking. I have pretty healthy teeth, so I'm wondering if it's just a pre-existing condition that Phentermine tends to bring out.

I have't come across jaw pain as being one of the side-effects in any of my reasearch. I am thinking it might just be coincidence or something that was already a problem but just got worse with the medication.

Oh I do that BAD!! My jaws are pretty sore by the end of the night. I grind my teeth some nights anyway but the Phentermine does make me clench my jaw and I have a tendency to bite down on on the side of my mouth.
