Default Overdose

How common is it for people to overdose on Phentermine? What are some of the most common signs that somebody has overdosed, and what results can come of it, aside from death of course.

I don't know how common it is, but these are the symptoms of overdose;

Overdose symptoms may include confusion, hallucinations, feeling restless or aggressive, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, irregular heartbeat, tremors, rapid breathing, confusion, hallucinations, feeling light-headed, fainting, or seizure (convulsions).

And of course as you say it can be fatal. Watch you dosing, and if you think you overdosed, get to a health care provider quick smart.

Thanks for the information. I'm still looking for some sort of statistics, like how common is overdose, and what percentage of Phentermine users have actually overdosed in the past. Thanks for giving me the symptoms though. It's definitely not a drug you want to mess with.

My understanding is that doctors titrate medication. Once medication is at a level that is working for a patient they stay there. Overdosing, I would guess, is caused more my human error. (either by accident or on-purpose) I'm sorry I have no statistics for you. I have looked for them, so my answer is purely a guess based on what I've read about testimonies of other medications.

Yes-that would tend to be the case with most medications. People can be forgetful at times, and that means that maybe a dose may be doubled up.

I think the double dose is a good case that many have done before. I was once in a car wreck and given Lortab (Vicodin) and esp. with a drug that makes you super sleepy or a drug that you might be taking during busy times in life, its very easy to double dose.

I love my little pill box with the days of the week on it. I really didn't think I'd keep it straight since sometimes I forget what day it is! It works though. I have many a time gone to take my medication, gone back because I wasn't sure if I'd taken it, but it was plainly obvious once I opened the box.

I really should get one of those cute little pill boxes. I don't really take that many pills, but I often find myself forgetting to take vitamins and such. I also forget that I've already taken it sometimes, and that's never good.

Many of those boxes can be found in your local store that will sell small things like band aids (dollar general places have them, like bigger stores of wally world and even plain Jane grocery stores) near the pharmacy area. I have one I keep that is kind of disguised and it just looks almost like a small coin purse instead with pockets for each day.

Yes you have a good point there, that the box would stop the risk of messing with doses. Of course if you have kids around you would have to keep it locked away, but this could really be useful-they are cheap too.
