I dont know, I think that it's not a good idea to rule out suing entirely, depending on the situation though. I can imagine a few situations where I can see suing for malpractice to be fair.

I agree because someone has to be held accountable. However when you reach the situation that people are unable to find medical care because no doctors in the area are able to afford malpractise insurance, there is a big problem that needs to be dealt with.

That is very true, LbsToLose, I think that it's a shame that doctors have to be so worried about it. I just think that if they obviously did something wrong, they should be held accountable.
