What kind of doctor?

I don't really go to the doctor often(I am one of those fat but healthy types) so I don't have a regular doc. I do have an OB because I have had 2 kids in the past few years. What kind of Dr. do I go to to get Phentermine?

I beleive that any Dr. can prescribe Phentermine however, a General practitioner with a subspecialty in weight loss is best. Some Drs don't even know what Phentermine is let alone will they prescribe it. I have had G.P.'s in the past tell me that I just need to quit eating or eat a salad. So that is where subspecialties help alot. Mine advertises and gives weight loss advice seminars. That is how I got hooked up with this dr. Hope this helps
