What type of format do you use for your weight loss journal? If nobody minds, maybe we could share format ideas. I'm looking to start a journal, and I think that starting off with a great and easy to use format will be very helpful in keeping me up to date with it.

Well, I like the Bridget Jones approach. Like this:
Weight: Mood: Thoughts and feelings: The other thing I have used is a google spreadsheet. I have to fill in the columns before going to bed. Did I take my meds: yes or no Exercise: fill in how much Did I put myself down? good or bad Did I "feel" like eating or was I hungry? describe a bit if I ate because I was upset, etc. At least, that's the format I'm going to use. I don't know how long it will last. |

Sometimes I just write what I have done for the day, ate, been lazy or not and so on. I try to not do the online journal right now since I am still a little timid. I went from being the skinny lady all the time (even after kids) to then waiting a year after my last being normal weight again to fully ballooning. So I am still getting things clear before I take that full new step.

I like all the ideas mentioned so far. I would like to get started on a Google spreadsheet, or something to that effect. It looks like a neat way to track everything, and definitely a positive approach.
